Yves Rocher is a worldwide cosmetic and beauty brand, founded in 1959 by the French entrepreneur Yves Rocher in La Gacilly in Brittany.
Annelie Johansson, the CEO of Yves Rocher Nordic shares the story of the brand in the Nordic countries : “The Yves Rocher brand was first established in Finland in 1978. In 1983 the brand was launched on the Swedish market, which today is the largest market in the Nordic region. The launch in Sweden, Norway and Denmark was the result of a passionate Swedish entrepreneur named Dan Brzokoupil. He was truly fascinated by the French cosmetics brand and travelled to France to meet with the founder Yves Rocher and shortly after started the Nordic subsidiary of Yves Rocher. Since then we have sold over 10 million beauty products to over 2 million customers in the Nordics.”
