At this year’s edition of Kulturnatt (Stockholm Culture Night) on April 25th, the photo exhibition ‘60 solutions against climate change’ by the French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand will be displayed at the French residence.
Created by Agence Française de Développement and the GoodPlanet Foundation, the exhibition comprises 21 photos by Yann Arthus-Bertrand from his famous Earth from Above series and presents concrete initiatives in four sectors: cities, agriculture, energy transition and climate change adaptation. Designed to raise public awareness, these beautiful images offer a unique perspective of the incredible riches of our planet, and the threats to which she is prey, and urge us to protect her. The explicatory texts to the photos are in English.
The exhibition is contributing to growing public awareness of the global imperative to address climate change, a priority for France – host country the global climate conference COP21 in Paris in December 2015. Read more about COP21 here: http://www.cop21.gouv.fr/en
